As a young woman executive from Rwanda, the decision to become an entrepreneur was something that came from a place deep within me. Many women in East Afrika don’t initially envision themselves as entrepreneurs, but I came to realize that the passion within me to take my own path in life was a voice that I could not ignore.

I am a seamstress, an artist, and a carrier of Rwandan culture. As a fabric artist, I wrap my clients in custom fabric creations that represent culture, beauty, and a deep sense of history and purpose.
I see MediaBreeze as a company that does the same thing with digital media, and this is why I accepted the call to become Chief Operations Officer of the company. MediaBreeze does with media what I do with fabrics. Every game, every app, every website, is a custom, couture piece of art made with thought and purpose.
I am also a language director and I am guiding MediaBreeze with its latest product, an app that helps English speakers learn the Kinyarwanda language.
Bantu languages are a critically important part of Afrika’s history , present, and future. The Kinyarwanda language is Bantu language that is particularly important in today’s world. Rwanda is one of the few countries in Afrika whose borders were not initially set by colonial entities. The identity of Rwanda is pre-colonial. This means that the richness, the unity, and the depth of Rwandan culture is an authentic representation of life in East Afrika before the invasion of Europeans. Rwanda has been through many challenges but we keep rebounding, we keep coming back, and we are now one of the most stable, prosperous, and self-determined nations in all of Afrika due to very strong leadership and an extremely vibrant underlying culture.
At MediaBreeze, our Kinyarwanda app ( due to launch in March 2026 ) helps native English speakers to learn Bantu language fundamentals and the foundations of the Kinyarwanda language. Languages are very important in Afrika. They help connect people to the deeper culture of Afrika and they are the key to understanding our history as a people. There are some cultures in West and Southern Afrika where many of the local people speak colonial languages on the street. Most Rwandans speak English to various degrees, but the language on the street is Kinyarwanda. This is one of the reasons why learning Kinyarwanda , even if it is just a few key phrases and greetings, is very , very important for you if you want to live or spend time in Rwanda.
Of course, the language app is not our only offering. We have built a wide array of websites, games, apps, and other immersive experiences to help elevate the consciousness of humanity through digital media.
We hope you will engage us. Please use the chat box in the lower right hand corner to reach out . Murabeho ! ( bye ).
